Rudy is a P who went through our mission’s training institute. He and his wife, being bilingual, spent several years living out in a Venezuelan city training to become missionaries. After graduating from the institute, they felt the desire to work among their own people, rather than go to a new people group. Rudy has been a tremendous blessing and a wonderful, gifted addition to our team!
One of Rudy’s roles among the P churches that was discussed was to carry out an itinerant ministry to visit and encourage pastors and churches. This would include just being a connection person between them all, and seeking to understand their individual state of growth and problems. Also to seek to be a bridge to maintain and promote unity between all the churches. There are some 200 of them! Several P pastors joined him on this trip and from what I understand, they had a wonderful time of fellowship and encouragement among the P brethren they visited. I think they visited 5 or 10 churches, but am not sure on that number yet.
They traveled on motorcycles, hiked over mountains and crossed rivers.

They’ve been sending me videos, photos and audio messages along their way as these remote villages now have Starlink Wi-Fi. At one point, Elendie called me to share a live song with Robin and me (and our guest Mimi!) It was fun to hear “live music” like that from the jungles of Venezuela!
I thought you’d enjoy this news and also seeing these photos.
