They have some large cattle trucks that they are bringing the P’s on to get here but two of the three trucks broke down.
The drivers were already a day late because they went out drinking the night before they left. These are Colombian commercial drivers who run a transport company on the border. Their equipment is very old.
The poor P’s were crammed in there and broke down yesterday half way here. It’s about a 5 hour drive but yesterday the drivers took a wrong road and got lost. This is a very remote hidden area (for our security) and hard to find. So they got lost and broke down and it took two days to get here.
In the meantime, there are still 155 people at the river bank village waiting the return of the trucks. They are hoping the trucks make it and they can arrive for Bible teaching. Most of these people have traveled several days to get just to the border.
Anyway we have not started teaching till everyone gets here. They are so hungry to hear the word.
